Last year’s U-8 made steady progress throughout the season, learning the basic techniques of tag rugby and the aspects of teamwork. Several players were trying their hands at rugby for the first time thoroughly enjoyed their first season at GRUFC, culminating in a successful tournament at Nottingham losing only to the eventual winners and losing finalists. Now moving into contact rugby, new challenges lie ahead and fitness training has already begun in preparation for season 2007-08, on Sundays at 10.00 am and Thursday at 6.00 pm.
